SOUTH EASTERN BASEBALL INFORMATION

ABOUT US

The goal of South Eastern Baseball is to offer a recreational baseball program, for youth athletes of all skill levels. With our outstanding volunteers, we provide baseball instruction to ages 4-19 and foster a love for America's National Pastime.

Our league does not put and emphasis on winning or championships because that mentality only creates a toxic playing environment and puts unnecessary stress on the players, coaches, and volunteers. Instead, we focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game and putting an emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. Most importantly, we focus on giving EVERY player an opportunity to play the game and have fun. There are no roster cuts in our program. Everyone is good enough to play.

So if you have a kid at home who loves baseball, then this is the league for you. And if you have a kid at home who has never picked up a bat before, then this is the league for you. Because in our league, baseball is for EVERYONE.

Please contact HARP at [email protected] for registration questions or South Eastern Baseball at [email protected] for all other questions.

See you on the diamond!

Exciting Pricing Updates and Future Plans for our Youth Baseball League!

Dear SE Baseball Families,

We hope this email finds you and your loved ones in good health and high spirits. First and foremost, we want to express our sincere appreciation for your unwavering commitment and dedication to our league. It is thanks to the collective efforts of our incredible families that we have fostered an environment where children can learn and thrive, becoming not only amazing baseball players but also confident, well-rounded individuals. Throughout the years, our league has strived to provide a high-quality experience at competitive prices, ensuring that baseball remains accessible to all families. However, we must address a pressing matter - the financial feasibility of sustaining our current offerings. Over the past few seasons, we have kept our prices unchanged, striving to accommodate the needs of our families.

Unfortunately, this stagnant pricing has taken its toll on our league's financial health. Despite our best efforts, we have been operating at a loss, compromising our ability to sustain the league's operations effectively. To ensure the long-term viability and growth of our league, we have made the difficult decision to implement a price increase for the next two years. This measure will allow us to rectify our current financial challenges, invest in vital resources, and continue to enhance the overall experience for players and their families.

Please understand that this decision was not made lightly, and it is crucial for the long-term success of our league. By bridging the gap between our current prices and the actual costs involved, we can guarantee a sustainable future, fostering an environment where every child can continue to enjoy the sport they love and build lifelong memories.

We remain committed to transparency and open communication. As such, we are happy to provide you with a detailed breakdown of the new pricing structure, explaining how your investment will be allocated towards maintaining and improving league facilities, equipment, coaching resources, and other essential needs. We genuinely believe that this price adjustment is necessary for us to stay relevant in the ever-evolving youth sports landscape & reassure that every dollar raised through the price increase will be reinvested with the sole purpose of enhancing the baseball experience at SE Baseball.

With your continued support, we can continue to offer a high-quality baseball experience for our young athletes, nurturing their skills, values, and passion for the game. Once again, thank you for being an integral part of our Southeastern Baseball program. Together, let us embrace this opportunity for growth and pave the way for an even brighter future for our league. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We value your feedback and are always here to assist you.

Warm regards,

SE Baseball Board of Directors

2024 South Eastern Baseball - Spring

South Eastern Baseball is excited to announce registration will be open for the Spring 2024 season starting 1/1/24. We will field as many teams as we have enough players to support. If needed, we will hold skills assessments to place all of the players on the team that matches their skill level. If there are just enough players for one team within an age group, players will automatically be placed on that team. Registration includes team hat, jersey and socks. We will make every effort to put players on teams in the area they live in. However, if there are an uneven number of players for the applicable age group, players may be shifted to either Fawn Grove or Stewartstown in order to fill a team.

Age groups are as follows:
T-Ball Instructional-$85  (player's minimum age is 4 and cannot be 7 as of 5/1/24)
19U- $225 (player's minimum age is 17 and cannot be 20 as of 5/16/24)
16U-$215  (player's minimum age is 15 and cannot be 17 as of 5/8/24)
14U-$210  (player's minimum age is 13 and cannot be 15 as of 5/1/24)
12U-$175 (player's minimum age is 11 and cannot be 13 as of 5/1/24)
10U-$135 (player's minimum age is 9 and cannot be 11 as of 5/1/24)
8U-$125 (player's minimum age is 7 and cannot be 9 as of 5/1/24)
A $20 late fee will be added to each registration if submitted after February 14, 2024 for age groups 12 & under.
The late fee will be added for 14U, 16U, & 19U registrations if submitted after March 26th 2023.
Registration is non-refundable unless we are unable to field a team for a certain age group.

Practices will begin late March/early April. Games will likely start the end of April and the season will run until approximately the 3rd weekend in June. Older age groups practices and games start later in the season. Once we receive the game schedule from York County Baseball, all players and coaches will be notified.

Practices and Home games will be played at one of our Stewartstown/Fawn Grove fields. Away games will be played across York County.

End of Season Tournaments and Championship games are played throughout the month of June.

Please contact HARP at [email protected] for registration questions or South Eastern Baseball at [email protected] for all other questions.
