This program is designed to provide youth baseball players (ages 7-12 yrs old) the opportunity to play more of the game they love! It will also allow participants to interact with their friends, play different positions and enjoy America’s Pastime. Players will show up for “sandlot” on Sunday afternoons for a 75 minute session, they may arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time of the session to stretch and throw. Each session is exclusively coach pitch so players do not need to worry with pitch counts or taxing their arms.  Players will be divided by age; space is limited to 20 registrants per age group. The program will take place on Sunday afternoons from June 9-July 7 with the 7-9 years olds playing from 1pm-2:15pm and the 10-12 year olds playing from 2:30-3:45pm. The location of the program is HARP Field #2 with a physical address of 16 College Avenue Stewartstown, PA 17363. Please be sure your participant is wearing sneakers or cleats (no metal spikes permitted) and comfortable clothes as they will be active during the entire duration of the program. They will also need a water bottle and age appropriate baseball glove for every session (bat is optional as we will have some available for use). If a program session would need to be canceled due to inclement weather, an email notification will be sent out prior to 11am the day of the program. Participants do not have to be members of any of our youth sports programs to participate.
