General SponsorshipHopewell Area Recreation and Parks has been serving the Southern End of York County for over 30 years. In 2024, we plan to continue to expand the services that we offer for our community. To help us do this we will need the support of local businesses, like yours, throughout the Southern End of York County. With that in mind, HARP has created sponsorship opportunities to give local businesses the chance to support the growth of our mission along with us. These opportunities were formed to provide a win-win for HARP and your local business.
Hopewell Area Recreation & Parks is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. All contributions made to HARP are eligible for tax deduction under IRC Section 170. HARP also offers a scholarship program to provide families that are in need of financial assistance to allow them the opportunity to participate in programs/events we offer. More information on that program can be found at the bottom of this page. Please be aware that sponsorship funding for this program will lower the cost for those registering based on their income and provide necessary equipment for participants. If you are interested in donating to this program, please make note of it on the attached sponsorship form. HARP thanks you for your support as we continue to provide recreational opportunities for the community we live in and serve.

Hopewell Area Recreation & Parks is now offering advertising banners to be hung and displayed on our athletic field fences. This opportunity is an inexpensive way for your business to advertise to your own community on a regular basis. Each season we have hundreds of children register for our sports programs offered to the community. Hanging a banner on a field has the potential to not only reach the kids that register for our programs and their parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles but also visiting teams that use our facility. Visitors coming in from out of town for tournaments will have breaks between games for food and exploring the town. Having your sign on a field may be what leads them to your business! The cost to advertise for a season on the field of your choice is $200.00. You will receive a 4’ x 6’ banner on the field of your choice (space is limited on each field so it is first to purchase gets first choice of location) and recognition on our website and all social media! Should you not have a field preference our staff will choose a suitable and visible spot for your sign. The “Benefits are Endless” by becoming a sponsor in this worthwhile campaign! #1 it is a great way to advertise as mentioned above and #2 your sponsorship donation is tax deductible.
