HARP will be offering a new fitness class starting in March. Cardio Drumming is a low-to-moderate-intensity cardiovascular exercise suitable for beginners, older adults, and people with disabilities. Easy modification can be made to increase or decrease intensity, and participants can choose to sit, stand, or alternate positions throughout the class. Warm-up, stretching, and cooldown are key components of the course as well as improving health and reducing the risk of injury.
The class will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays in March from 9am-10am. It will take place in the HARP Community Building located at 16 College Avenue Stewartstown, PA 17363. The first class is scheduled for Monday, March 2nd and the last class for the session would take place on Wednesday, March 25th.
The cost is $65 for all 8 sessions. Those that live within the HARP areas (Hopewell Township, Stewartstown Borough, East Hopewell Township, and Crossroads Borough) receive a $5 discount.
Drop ins are welcome but will need to pay the $10 drop in fee (cash only)and sign our waiver prior to participating in the class.
