HARP will be hosting a Youth Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run Competition 

Hopewell Area Recreation & Parks, the Southeastern Baseball Program, Stewartstown Vets Men’s Baseball Team and Rams' Girls' Youth Softball will host a FREE Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run Competition for area youth on Sunday, July 28, 2024 starting at 1:00pm.

The competition is free and open to boys and girls ages 7-14.  It will be held at HARP Field #1 located at 16 College Avenue Stewartstown PA, 17363 next to our Community Building.  Pitch, Hit and Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball.  This program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills.

Competitors are divided into four age divisions:  7/8, 9/10/, 11/12, 13/14, and have the chance to advance through three levels of competition culminating at the MLB World Series! Age is determined as of November 15, 2024.  

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISER IN ADVANCE ONLINE AT PARENTS, PLEASE BRING A COPY OF YOUR CHILD’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR RELIGIOUS DOCUMENT TO SHOW PROOF OF AGE.  If you are not able to register online prior to the event you may register at the competition with the help of event staff; however, registration will be limited.   

This event is sponsored by Hopewell Area Recreation and Parks, Southeastern Baseball Program, Southeastern Rams Girls Youth Softball, the Stewartstown Vets Men’s Baseball Team and Major League Baseball.
