Participants in HARP’s NFL Flag Football League will have fun while being physically active and will gain knowledge of the sport. Young athletes will learn every position on the field as well as football fundamentals. This league is open to Boys & Girls, ages 5-15. The registration fee is $95.00 and includes a NFL Flag Football performance reversible jersey and an NFL Flag Football belt and two flags. The price will increase to $105.00 after January 31st. The registration deadline for the league is Monday, February 12th  2024, so please be sure to register as soon as you can.

Again this season, each player will have the opportunity to play in their age groups PRO BOWL ( players voted for by coaches) at the end of the season as well as compete in their age groups end of season playoffs for an individual championship ring. However, new this year our PRO BOWL Games will take place under the lights here at HARP on a Sunday evening at the end of the season. These PRO BOWL games will provide the opportunity for our best players in each age group to put their skills to the test against the best players from the SECA NFL Flag Football League from across the river in Solanco School District.  

Registration will open December 9 2023.

All games will be played on Sunday afternoons. The first week of games will take place on Sunday, March 3rd (weather permitting), so please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Preseason practice schedules will be determined by coaches.

Each player will be assigned to a team that will play a guaranteed five game schedule. Each participant will receive an official NFL Flag Football performance reversible jersey and an NFL Flag Football belt with two flags. Players are required to wear a mouth guard to all practices and all games and this must be provided by parents for players. Requests to be on a team with another player should be put in the comments section when registering. Please remember that we cannot guarantee teammate requests, but we will do our best to honor as many requests as possible. 

LEAGUE FORMAT:  

-The league will include four (4) guaranteed regular season games and one game guaranteed in a single elimination playoff.

-Regular season games will begin on Sunday, March 3, 2024 Please note that no games will be played on Sunday, March 31, 2024 (EASTER).

-Sunday, April 7th will be used as a makeup date. If no makeup date is needed then playoffs would begin on this date or be pushed back to begin on Sunday, April 14th.

-Game start times will be from 1pm-3pm.

-Teams will play 5v5 or 6v6 depending on the age group and amount of players attending the game for each team. Coaches must agree prior to start of game. 

-Games are 2 x 20 minute halves with a 1-minute halftime.

-ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MOUTHGUARDS

Volunteer Coaches- Need clearances (state police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint) on file with HARP before first practice. Guaranteed your child will be on your team for the season and you will receive an NFL Flag licensed jersey.

Referees-Must be at least 16 years of age, clearances on file with HARP, training is provided, pays $11 per game
