HARP Mission Statement

Mission Statement

It is the mission of Hopewell Area Recreation and Parks (HARP) to improve the quality of life of the citizens of Hopewell Township, EastHopewell Township, Stewartstown Borough, and Crossroads Borough by providing comprehensive recreation and park services that include well-maintained facilities and a wide variety of programs designed to meet the needs of children and adults in our community.

Fireworks

The July 4th Celebration Fireworks are scheduled to be held at 9:30 PM on Tuesday, July 3rd at the Stewartstown Community Fairgrounds.

The JC Fisher Band will perform at the Fairgrounds from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy the show!!!

Rain date will be Friday, July 6th

Welcome to the HARP website! If you would like to register for upcoming programs, log into your account and select “Register now” on the My Account page. If you are new to the site, you must create a user account first. You will then be able to register for programs, as well as receive e-mails about upcoming events.

The 6 week session will run from May 21st through July 9, 2012, excluding May 28 (Memorial Day) and July 2nd (4th of July week) on Monday evenings from 6 PM - 7 PM at the Community Building.

$30 for HARP Residents, $35 for non-HARP Residents

This will be a manual registration, so please complete both pages of the form linked below and return to HARP along with a check made payable to HARP for registration fees.

Forms can either be mailed to PO Box 959, Stewartstown PA 17363 or
placed in our drop-box by the front door of the Community Building.

All participants must be at least 13 years old.

A minimum of 20 participants is required for the program to start.

CAMP HARP

Summer is coming!!!

Time to get ready for CAMP HARP!

Week 1: June 18-22 Sports Week $70
Includes a trip to the Whitaker Center on Friday, June 22nd .

Week 2: June 25-June 29 Wildlife Week $95

Includes a trip to Lake Tobias on Friday, June 29th.

Week 3: July 9-13 Sports Week $70

Includes a trip to the State Museum on Friday, July 13th.

Also, later in the Spring, parents and siblings will be able to register for the Friday trips as well...
